The Web Portal Developer/Integrator will develop a production-ready web portal framework and customised Web portlet tools for a range of research applications.
Responsibilities - Perform a leading role in the design and build of effective web user interfaces - Appropriately re-use/re-purpose existing solutions - Effectively debug reported problems within the development and deployment environments - Document all software, to a high standard
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or a computational science or engineering discipline - Four or more years experience in object oriented software design and development - Significant experience with common web application programming languages - Experience in designing web portals - Familiar with JSR168 - Experience with Java, especially J2EE - Experience with Unix, especially Linux
