    I have cascading nav (built w/ numerous layers) and an area w/ scrolling news releases. this isn't a problem if my site aligns top left and i can set fixed x/y coordinates. but what if i want my site to center? how do i get the divs/layers to move horizontally w/ the rest of the site???

    the nav is in it's own div but inserts a break of sorts before the content. the main text is in another div and positions correctly if I insert within the table, but it loses it's specifications (size, scroll-via overflow setting, etc)

    any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks but i'm trying to create a fixed width site that centers, and then have layered menus contained within.
