I need to find a decent CSS crash course for the junior designers I have working under me. Thus far, the best they've come up with is the Dynamic Web Training "CSS Training" course.

I can't ship and pack them off to Web Directions South this year as I'm not going either. Does anyone know any other leads I could try ? I would really like to send them to something like Russ Weakley's workshops.. but they're no longer operating :(

What about the WestCiv self-paced courses?

Self-paced workshops are your safest bet but has the drawback of being a long-term exercise, I'm 19 and managed to scratch together my XHTML/CSS toolkit in a solid year of challenging projects and incorporating new methods into client projects.

I believe I may be able to assist in bringing your Front-end Web Developers up to speed, how about a one day introductory training session at a reduced rate and if you think it's worth it we'll structure a program.

I've previously taught Google Adwords to several individuals during my year of full-time employment with a previous Brisbane-based web development firm and can offer my technical teaching services on a consultation basis. I'd love the challenge of teaching a small group HTML (using modern structured markup standards) and CSS (removing presentation styling from the content layer) from the ground up. My email is michael@visser.com.au and website redblock.com.au for further information.

Are there really no XHTML/CSS training workshops in South East Queensland? I will have to bring that up at the next Web Designers Meetup.

The juniors don't want self paced. They need to meet and network with people. I also haven't heard anything from WSG Brisbane, but there is an AIWA/Port80 plant in Brisbane, so I may check there.
